Remember, it is God that said it, not man.  It is his word.  The Bible says he cannot lie:

Titus 1:2
... God, who cannot lie... (NAS)

He is calling on you to agree with him.  The question again is, do you recognize and confess that the only way for you to be reconciled to God is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, because God said it?
